As i mentioned i went to Bali last week, and here is the picture heavy post about my family trip. Will let the pics do most of the talking. (:
Asking with her inquisitive eyes: Mummy, where are you going? What are the luggage doing in the living room? Are you going to leave me again? Ah i really couldn't bear to leave her )': even though she looks like an old man with a long moustache here lol
We're going on Malaysia Airlines so we went to KLIA. And amazingly we met a hell lot of people there wtf. It's normal to bump into people you know in shopping malls, but the airport? Was awed. Oh, i was sick and having a fever the day before we go to Bali, so when we were having breakfast my hand shook/shivered/god knows what and i poured the whole cup of coffee, (Yee had to change her coffee-stained shirt haha) and some of the coffee spilled to the other table. I'm so sorry, stranger, for staining your shirt with the coffee. Felt really bad about it.
Nasi lemak on the plane with shrimp and sambal. I watched Rio throughout the whole journey and it really was an adorable movie! (:
Hello Bali! We were welcomed with Frangipani/Plumeria flowers tied by a string. Of course i googled for the name of the flower.
Our local tour guide, Mr S. (I feel like a horrible person because i've forgotten his name) He speaks chinese really well!
Firstly we had lunch which didn't taste nice. Mum is as adorable as ever.
Next we went to a temple. We need to wrap a sarong around ourselves as we were wearing shorts to respect their gods. I kinda love sarongs now haha.
Weather was hot hot hot!
There were lots of mischievous monkeys there. Look carefully at the picture, the monkey was holding my mum's sunglasses. It jumped on mum and snatched the sunglasses in just a second. The workers will help you coax the monkey with food so that you get your belongings back. Then the workers will ask for your money. I can't help thinking that this whole scenario was deliberate to cheat tourist's money.
Daddy Yee Myself and Mummy. Truth is the temple was very boring lah. Of course it wouldn't be nice unless you're there to study historical stuffs.
Then we went to Golden Kirrin Coffee Factory to try out different types of coffee like male coffee, female coffee, luwak coffee blabla. It tasted all the same to me.
For dinner we went to this restaurant at the seaside. Was so grateful because finally, a glimpse of Bali beach!
Dad's expression so classic wtf.
Hehe iloveyou ♥
To my awesome babes. I love you girls smooches.
Emo pic, looks like the waves were coming to attack me haha. i need a haircut
Laugh out loud. I insisted on taking crazy/stupid pics because i freaking love the beach.
Jump shot!
I love this picture so much. We jumped like lunatics while an angmoh was looking at us until finally mum got the shot right heh. ;)
Mum is always crazy about poses, she's so cute i love you mummy.
Seafood that looked mouth-watering but the taste was disappointing.
Ohmy, the beautiful sunset. There are no words to precisely describe the gorgeous mother nature. You'll just look at it speechless, stunned, and captivated by this ethereal beauty.
At night we checked in at Quest Hotel and there goes our first day. Anyway there's something that i should mention about our tour in Bali. Apparently mum chose a very boring tour, and beaches were not in our schedule. We were only going to go to temples temples temples and other crappy places wtf. I felt so cheated when i saw our schedule. It was only lucky that we had dinner at the seaside restaurant, if not we wouldn't even have the chance to go to a beach. That's the disadvantage of tours i guess. Sigh i swear i'll go to Bali again but we will definitely choose a more interesting tour!
Stay tuned for Bali Day 2 though (:
