A Baking day.

( You see, as promised i'm updating. )

Hey guys. I was actually at the end of the post when i accidentally clicked something and poof, the whole post vanished. Worst, the stupid auto-save saved it. I'm trying very hard to control my anger and impatience to type everything out again so can you please appreciate this post. ( No vulgar, HewCheeYen, no vulgar. )

Here we go again. Today, Agnes and I went to Ling's house for baking. Yes, it's me HewCheeYen. And yes, i agreed to bake. And yes you're right again, i didn't help much. Anyway the plan was to bake spongecake and cupcakes, orange flavored. It's my first time witnessing the baking process and it was very interesting, knowledge gained! Agnes did 90% of the work, Ling did 8% and i did 2%. Stop laughing.

The baking stuffs Agnes bought. She practically bought her whole kitchen.

Recipe that doesn't explains anything. Only Agnes understand what she wrote.

This is a thing that separates egg yolk and egg white. Very efficient! Never seen one before. ( If this thing looks completely normal to you just shut up la it's my first time okay. )

I didn't know that you can peel eggs this way. I thought the only way was to crack the egg on a side of the bowl and open it. Wow.

And here you go, this is my 2% of the work! Stop sneering, i'm not making rubbish. I'm peeling orange skins and cutting them to fine pieces. These orange skins are important to make the cake smell nice and add taste to it okay.

Spongecake: Yes yes Agnes mummy, i'm gonna rise nicely and be as spongy as possible.

Fact of the day: This long tissue thing is called a kitchen roll. Seriously i didn't know it until today.

Ta-da! The mildly burned spongecake. No worries the upper layer will be removed later.

Here it is! The cupcake with coloured chocolate rice and icing. Cute right.

Suppose to be a love shape. It melted later omg.

So so cute. I feel a sense of satisfaction looking at them. Yes even though i did nothing except doing crazy stuffs and annoying the both of them. ;P

Not enough icing, so we have pure, virgin cupcakes.

And then that was the end for baking so we clean up, and sat there and talk craps. Later i went home at around 6. It was really a great day my girls. Thank you so much! Btw i can't believe i actually typed this post twice wtf. Someone should award me for my patience and determination.
